RIVER INFORMATION

Toll Bridge update from KCC.
The toll bridge is a complex structure and we are working to resolve the immediate operation issues to ensure that the bridge functions reliably up to and including The Open. In addition, detailed inspections are due to take place at the end of the month and these will inform the design of potential longer term solutions to be implemented in the longer term. Work on site has been limited because, as advised previously, we are awaiting the arrival of specialist parts from Holland.
These were scheduled to arrive in the country today and repair works will resume at the earliest opportunity. With regards to the bus service we can review the start time if it is not meeting local needs.l and this will be addressed Monday as a priority.
Next scheduled update on progress will be MONDAY.
